In a highly competitive fixture of the Ghana Premier League week nine, Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and CAF Confederations Cup campaigners Dreams FC locked horns at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Both sides entered the match fresh off losses in their previous Ghana Premier League encounters. At Nana Koramansah Park, Kotoko lost to Nsoatreman FC by a small margin, and Dreams FC lost to Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at home.
To get back to winning ways, the Still Believe boys traveled to Kumasi today to defeat the Porcupine Warriors. Dreams FC has lost their previous two games in the Ghanaian premier league.

Abdul Aziz Issah of Dreams FC broke the tie just before the interval. The CAF Confederations Cup campaigners easily won and earned the three maximum points that were up for grabs because there was no further goal scored in the second half.
Dreams FC displayed tenacity and resiliency to take up their first win in their past three games, but Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum used all of his resources in the second half in an attempt to get an equalizer. The record holders of the Ghana Premier League, however, have not triumphed in a match since October 13.
Kotoko have dropped to the 14th position with 10 points whiles Dreams FC moves to the 10 spot with 11 points after 9 games into the season.
The Porcupine Warriors are away to Samartex in the week 10 of the domestic top-flight.
