23 Years Later, Sony Achiba Releases Music Video For His ‘Nipa Boniayefour’ Hit Song

Sony Achiba, a Ghanaian-born British hiphop artist and dancer, has released the official video for his hit song, nipa boniayefuor. The song went viral in Ghana in the year 2000, but it took over two decades for the video to be released.

Achiba’s real name is Emmanuel John Bandick Dankwa, and he began his career as a dancer after injuring his left leg while playing football. He rose to prominence with his Afro-Hindi style of music after releasing his first album in 2002.

He would go on to release another album, Hip-Dia, two years later and perform with a variety of popular artists at the time.

Sony Achiba’s song Nipa Boniayefuor is about gratitude and ingratitude.

The video features Achiba and a couple of female vixens dressed in Indian cultural attire, which is in keeping with his style.

Their attire is complemented by Indian cultural dance, which is dominated by wiggling and gyrating.
