Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of Ghana, expressed his feelings after the Black Stars’ thrilling 3-0 triumph against Madagascar in Monday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
Before the game, Gyan, who is now with the Ghanaian team in Morocco, was spotted encouraging the players.
It appears that his encouragement and presence helped the Black Stars secure yet another significant victory.

Ghana controlled the game at Le Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima, winning three crucial points with poise and attacking mastery.
Leading the onslaught, Thomas Partey scored twice with well-placed headers in the eleventh and fifty-fourth minutes, both of which were assisted by Jordan Ayew.
Following an accurate pass from Ayew, Mohammed Kudus ended the match with a clinical goal in the 74th minute.
With this triumph, the Black Stars took a big step toward qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and cemented their lead in Group I with 15 points.
Ghana’s all-time top scorer, Gyan, has been an outspoken advocate for the team and continues to play a crucial role off the field.
