Fans have only witnessed a few hours of the 2020 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show but already, drama in the house and social media continues to grow very fast.
One of the new BBNaija ladies, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, has been accused of lying about her age.
During her introduction at the show premiere, Nengi told the season’s host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu that she is 20 years.
ust after announcing her age, social media ‘investigators’ did their quick background check on the lady and have refuted her claim.
A particular Twitter user identified as @mizzeah_ appeared to have taken the trouble to run a check on the BBNaija housemate.
The lady posted a photo which was shared on Nengi’s official Instagram page in which Nengi was described as a 22-year-old from Bayelsa and was also said to have won the Miss Peace Bayelsa contest in 2014.
The social media user shared a different screenshot from the official page of the Miss Peace beauty pageant.
The screenshot indicated the eligibility age for those who want to participate in the contest and it appears that the housemate lied.
