Berekum Chelsea advanced to the semifinals of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup after defeating Bechem United on Saturday, March 29.
Stephen Amankona scored the only goal of the game to give Chelsea a narrow win as they advanced into the last four.
After advancing to the Round of 16, both clubs were full of confidence heading into the game. Chelsea defeated Northern City 4-1, while Bechem United won on penalties against Techiman Liberty Youth.

In a closely contested game at the Baba Yara Stadium, Chelsea took the lead in the 30th minute through their top scorer, Amankona.
Despite their best efforts to tie the game before halftime, the Hunters fell behind.
The second half was no different from the first, with both teams continuing to seek for goals. Bechem came close on several times, but they were unable to trouble Chelsea’s goalkeeper.
Chelsea held on to win, advancing to the competition’s last four, where they will face the winner of the game between Asante Kotoko and True Demorcacy.
