Black Sherif, a Ghanaian rapper and singer, has broken his silence after allegedly being arrested at Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
The reigning VGMA artiste of the year was reportedly whisked away to the Ghana police headquarters over a contractual breach involving a July 4 show in Greece that he did not honor.

Black Sherif was allegedly booked to perform on a cruise ship in Greece, for which he allegedly demanded and was paid half of US$40,000.
According to reports, the artiste was picked up at Kotoka International Airport after being placed on the stop list as a result of a client complaint.
Despite the controversy, Blacko has used Twitter to announce his upcoming performance at the University of Ghana.
“I’m coming to Pent Tomorrow. If you are not feeling well don’t come in front, enjoy the show from the wings or wherever the madness isn’t extreme. See you there
YAYA KK,” he wrote.
