Black Sherif performs at 25th MOBO Awards

Ghanaian breakout star, Black Sherif performed at the 25th anniversary of the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards which took place at the OVO Arena in Wembley, UK.

The MOBO Awards are an annual British music award ceremony that recognizes achievements in ‘music of black origin,’ which includes hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.

The concert, which featured renowned giants such as Nile Rodgers, Craig David, Tion Wayne, Fireboy DML, and others, was grandiose and black excellence.

Black Sherif

The Konongo native opened up the set for what was a grand tribute to Music originating from Africa performing his top charting singles, Second Sermon Remix and Kwaku The Traveller.

Burna Boy won Best International Act and African Artist of the Year in 2022. Samini, Wizkid, and Davido were among the Awards winners in the past.
