Busy Signal confirmed as Headline Artiste for Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert 2022

The prestigious Bhim Concert 2022 will include BUSY SIGNAL as its headlining act, it has been officially announced.

The annual festival, now in its sixth year, is set for the Grand Arena (AICC) on Friday, December 23. For an immersive experience that aspires to link African and Caribbean roots, as well as locals and visitors.

Busy Signal brings to this year’s edition a prodigious career spanning two decades that shows no signs of slowing. Since he launched his first hit single, “Step Out,” in 2003, he has gained recognition as one of the most renowned performers on the global dancehall scene.

SIGNAL’s talent for writing catchy lyrics and inventing unusual musical dialogues while blending traditional Caribbean music with afro-beats, soca, edm, and hiphop have demonstrated his great range. He has drawn the likes of well-known EDM duo Major Lazer for the singles “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” and, more recently, “Jump.”

His international fan base has been further expanded by other collaborations with No Doubt, Damian and Stephen Marley, and others. His core Caribbean fan following has remained steadfastly loyal to hits like “Come Over,” “Bedroom Bully,” “One More Night,” and others.

Bhim Concert has established itself as Ghana’s largest-scale and most well-attended artist-led music festival. Since its debut, the festival has presented a massive lineup of well-known musicians from the Caribbean and Africa.
