Ghana rose to fifth in the CAF standings in March, while remaining 65th in the global rankings.

Since the last update, the team has played four games and won only one (the first friendly against Senegal). They lost two at the same time, while drawing the other.

However, according to the most recent adjustments revealed by the top football regulatory body, Bjorkegren’s side has plummeted to 66th (globally) and 6th (continentally).

The team is currently finalizing preparations for the postponed 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
