GHAMRO is useless- Edem fires

The  Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) is back in the news again, this time with unpleasantness from Ghanaian rapper, Edem.

GHAMRO, a royalties collection agency within Ghana, that represents the rights of music copyright holders, has in the past few years been surrounded by controversies, and this time, it is no different.

The “Toto” hitmaker has in a tweet, called the organisation the most “useless” in the country.

No entity for Artiste in Ghana be useless pass “GHAMRO” on my Mama..on GOD”

Whereas the genesis of this ‘attack’ is yet to be known, it has been revealed that the royalties for the year are been disbursed, and Edem may have received peanuts as royalties, or not received anything at all.
