After a rocky start in Switzerland, the Ghanaian appears to be settling in after an impressive pre-season following the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where he played for the Black Meteors.
With the player now settled in Zurich, his manager has lauded the player’s personality.
“I know few people who laugh as much as he does. Daniel is always happy, which makes him an exceptional person in the dressing room,” he said following the victory over Lugano.
Barnieh will be hoping to add to his tally in future games as the season progresses.
