Prosper Narteh Ogum, Asante Kotoko head coach, says he is not under pressure despite the recent poor performance of the team.
The Porcupine Warriors have come under pressure following their 1-0 defeat against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the matchday 9 games.
After falling to Nsoatreman FC, Kotoko’s loss means they have now lost two straight games. Following the defeat, the fans expressed their displeasure and booed the players.
With 10 points from two victories, four draws, and three losses, Kotoko is currently ranked 14th in the league standings.
But Prosper Narteh Ogum speaking after the game said he is not under pressure despite the uninspiring performance of the team.
“I don’t feel under pressure because we are playing in a league and losing games occurs in competition at all levels,” he said.
Asante Kotoko will be hosted by FC Samartex 1996 in the matchday 10 games on Saturday at Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
The Porcupine Warriors intend to fight for the Premier League championship, and they will be looking to get back to winning ways.
