Former BBNaija All Stars housemate Doyin David talks about how her treatment of her best friend, Ilebaye Odiniya, during the show led to a rift in their friendship.
In a Snapchat message, a fan chastised the reality star for overdoing the show and for always putting Ilebaye under the spotlight when they weren’t getting along.
Doyin defended herself by claiming that Ilebaye enjoyed hanging out with the individuals she was shielding her from, which was the reason behind her numerous outbursts at her buddy on the show.
She admitted that she periodically needed a friend to hold her accountable, just like any other regular person.
“I agree with you that I said certain things when we weren’t speaking and I take accountability for my actions….it was wrong but you people fail to understand that I’m a human being, I was hurt and I was lashing out. D good friend also needed a friend,” she quoted the reply.
In a video, Doyin provided more details about their arguments, highlighting the reasons behind their breakup and how it also affected her.
