Celestine Donkor, a sensational female gospel artist in Ghana, has revealed that she was the first woman to organize a gospel concert 13 years ago.
According to her, her first concert drew over 2000 people, despite the fact that such an event was unusual at the time. Celestine attributed the large number to the fact that it was the first time a female hosted such a program, as well as how her team went all out on concert publicity.

Speaking on the Prime Morning show on Friday, March 3, 2023, the ‘abgebolo’ hitmaker revealed that she only had one single prior to the event and had to sing songs by other artists as well as public domain songs.
It was interesting to start an event on such a note. The only song I had at that time was supernatural, but it went well
According to the gospel diva, as a worship leader at church, she was concerned about how people usually miss the worship section on Sundays due to tardiness, which inspired her to create Celestial Praise. This, she claims, will give people more time to praise and worship God.
Meanwhile, on March 6, 2023, the Victory Bible Church hosted the 10th edition of Celestial Praise. A number of Ghanaians, including Celestine’s colleagues in the entertainment industry, attended the event to honor the name of God. Ceccy Twum, Ohemaa Mercy, Nana Yaw Asare, and Irene Logan were among the gospel artists who attended the event.
