Big Akwes, a popular Kumawood actor, has expressed regret for campaigning for President Nana Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
According to Big Akwes, he is deeply disappointed in President Akufo-handling Addo’s of the country’s affairs and regrets campaigning for him.
Big Akwes stated in a self-recorded video posted on his TikTok and widely shared on Instagram that he will indeed go to hell for campaigning for the Akufo-led NPP government.

“If I die, I’ll go to hell. Yes, once I die I’ll go straight to hell. If there’s anything like heaven for when we die, I won’t get the chance to be in heaven. Why, because I campaigned for Nana Akufo-Addo and he has disappointed me,” he’s heard saying in Twi.
The actor was one of many well-known figures in the country who stood up and heavily campaigned for the NPP in the 2020 general election.
