If I knew I would be famous, I wouldn’t have dated certain people – Nana Ama McBrown

Age brings knowledge, and Ghanaian actress and TV personality Nana Ama McBrown is regretting some of her earlier decisions as she gets older.

The actress offered some advise to her admirers in a recent video posted by blogger Bobby Kyei, explaining the importance of making decisions in life that won’t have an impact on them later in life, when they find themselves in the spotlight.

Nana Ama McBrown asserts that she would not have found herself dating or befriending particular people if she had knew she would one day become a famous person.

“On my way here I was thinking about something, I asked myself, as human beings what do we want in this life? she asked.

She continued; “When we were young, we made some choices in life due to hardships; we made some friends that affected our lives. If I knew God would elevate me to this level, I wouldn’t have done certain things. I wouldn’t have done a lot of things or even dated certain people or made certain friends.”

The award-winning actress further advised the youth to do due diligence before making certain life choices.

“What I will tell people is that when we are young and plagued with poverty, it drove us to do certain things or make certain choices. If you find someone who gives you the best advice, listen to them. If you don’t, remember the family you are coming from and move accordingly. Be careful what you do now because you don’t know the future. Don’t let situations push you into doing certain things. We’ve all made mistakes in life. What you do now can affect your future so be careful,” she advised.
