The most “rugged” candidates win elections in Nigeria, according to renowned singer David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido.
On Wednesday, the musician made the comment on his X page.
He wrote, “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

Davido answered a fan’s question on whether his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, also triumphed via toughness by saying that tough folks were on his uncle’s side.
The fan with the X handle @chief_ochuko wrote via the comment section; “Na ruggedity ur uncle take win Abi?”
Davido replied: “Men mount.”
