Good music has no age restrictions, religious restrictions, or gender barriers; it is simply pure artistry! That is precisely what the Unsung initiative seeks to uncover. The initiative was launched with the goal of giving upcoming artists a chance to break into mainstream music. The winner will be given the opportunity to perform live on the biggest stage on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Charterhouse has officially opened nominations for the 24th edition of the VGMA Unsung after a month-long nomination entry period for mainstream artistes, producers, and record labels. Entrants are expected to have their fans, supporters, and sympathizers post their picture(s) across all social media platforms, tag them, and use the hashtag #24thVGMAUnsung to sign up. In this year’s Unsung initiative, the acts with the most tags are nominated.
As in previous years, the nominees will be given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in front of a live audience of over 20,000 people at the VGMA Xperience Concert. The event is also broadcast live on TV3 in the country and on social media around the world.

Who will succeed Gambo as the 24th VGMA Unsung winner? Nominations are accepted until Monday, March 6, 2023.
