Trent unveiled as a Real Madrid player!

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been unveiled by Real Madrid, saying “It’s a dream come true,” to join the LaLiga giants.

Speaking in Spanish, Alexander-Arnold said: “I want to be a winner here and enjoy playing alongside the best.”

Real announced the signing of the England full-back at the end of last month after paying Liverpool a fee to secure his services a few weeks before his contract officially ended.

That means Alexander-Arnold, who has had a medical at Real, will be available for the Club World Cup.

Madrid’s announcement brought to an end a long-running saga over the future of Alexander-Arnold, who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool before making his debut in 2016.

His unveiling comes two days after that of defender Dean Huijsen, who also headed from the Premier League to LaLiga after leaving Bournemouth.

Real, under new coach Xabi Alonso, will start their Club World Cup campaign against Al-Hilal at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
